ShiZong Dan Sandelin is the founder of Five Claw. He has been studying and teaching Kung Fu for over 25 years. His teaching style encourages students to achieve levels of technical skill and power that far surpass their expectations. Meet ShiZong Sandelin at our original Sonora School.
Sonora is the home of our original school, owned and operated by Shun Shifu Dan Sandelin. Our beautiful and well equipped Sonora school is conveniently located in East Sonora, right off the 108. We have 4 mat areas covering over 7000 square feet. Our martial arts training areas are fully padded, mirrored and equipped with everything you need to train your hardest.
While Sonora may be our home base, we have many students that travel from Calaveras and other counties just to train with us.

Our Sonora school offers classes in Kung Fu, T'ai Chi, and MMA as well as offering an expanding line of Cardio Kickboxing and Crossfit Training classes.
We are home to the only Transported Afterschool Program in Tuolumne County and offer many special Events and Programs for kids.
